A Hike in McLeod Gang
It’s dawn in McLeod Ganj, and the mountain air feels cool against your skin, kissing you gently as your cheeks tinge a rosy hue. As you hike along the trail, the birds are the first thing you notice, their calls echoing softly through the trees. The path is quiet except for your footsteps and the occasional rustle of leaves overhead. After a while, you stop by a small stream and crouch down for a drink, your hands pressing into the damp earth as the cold water runs over your fingers. For a moment, everything feels peaceful and grounding. You come to the serendipitous realisation that the mountain is you.
