A Stop on the Trail
After trekking to the kobold lair all morning and afternoon, you reach the entrance a few hours before the sun would set. Electing to take a rest and investigate in the morning, the party begins setting up camp. As the sun sets and a distance storm rolls in, you step off to the calm of the nearby creek to memorize your spells for the next day. The sounds of the rest of your party fixing supper drifts between the trees with the thunder and birds.
