Childhood Magical Forest
There was a place you used to go when you were a child, somewhere full of wonder and magic where you felt safe. Somehow, the adults never seemed to be able to go that place nor to even see it; it was your childlike wonder that granted you access to that magical forest, a place of enchantment, spells made with flower petals, of speaking animals and a deep, pulling knowledge that there was more beyond what your parents told you about life.
Growing up, it was so easy to reach the forest, your sight was slowly escaping you.
But here, now, the sound of the forest brings you back to afternoons of playing under the sun, of promises made with friends you haven't seen in a while, but that at the time felt like blood pacts, of being the hero of your own fairytale.
